Take Advantage of Free Training
The purpose of the NC GOP County Chairman's Association is to increase the effectiveness of Republican County Chairmen in the cause of good government through training, communication and informed participation in the political process, and to provide party officials with an extension for the support of the aims and objectives of the North Carolina Republican Party.
Please visit the CCA website (also available from our links page) for a list of training materials offered by the CCA. If there is something that your county organization needs specific training in that is not listed, let them know and they will put something together to conduct a training session if possible.
Training sessions offered include:
Other training sessions are available upon request.
If possible, when planning a training session for more than 10 people, please try to schedule a place suitable for a projector. Community Colleges usually can and will accomodate that need.
All training requests must come from the County Chair of the county requesting the training.
The 8th District representative to the CCA is Joshua T. Austin, Sr.
Please feel free to contact Josh at 910-206-1381 or send him a note at
About Our Site
The 8th District is comprised of all or parts of 10 counties. Links to the county web sites and more information about the District can be found on the 8th District Counties page. Links to other Republican organizations are also listed on this page.
Good men and women from all over the 8th District serve leadership positions within our district party. Along with the normal roster of Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer, our officers also include the Chairmen and Vice Chairmen of each county in the district as well as Members-at-Large from each county. And like all Republican Party organizations, the 8th District GOP also has a Plan of Organization that governs our activities. This Plan defines how we conduct business, elect officers, hold conventions, and all other matters of running a Party organization. Please see Our Organization page to read our Plan of Organization and for the full list of our officers and how to contact them.
If you would like to get involved with the Republican Party, meet with like-minded people, visit new cities in our state, rub shoulders with candidates and elected officials, or just request more information, then please go immediately to our Get Involved! page and let us know!
There are many opportunities throughout the 8th District for folks to get together to have a good time and strengthen our Republican Party. Please see our Events Calendar for important dates, happenings, and events throughout the 8th District. If you know of an event that should be listed that is not on our calendar, please let our WebMaster know!
